farewell 63.


well we did it.
3 years and 9 months later- we have moved from 63 east in orem!
this little 4-plex was so good to us.-- despite the rain gutter falling in the picture- we have really loved living there- well for the most part.
i won't miss not having a dishwasher, and the overall 'old-ness' feeling of the place- but we loved living so close to our awesome park, the fabulous university mall, target, costco, and of course- tyler's work, and orem high and uvu for so many years!
we brought our little lucy home to this apartment, and little clara- even if she only lived there for 2 weeks!
we made the move on saturday up to north salt lake! we are loving living in davis county and being so much closer to friends and family.
and a HUGE thanks to our friends and family for helping us move and well with everything really the last couple weeks- we are so lucky to have such fabulous people in our lives.
here is to a new chapter in our lives!


tyler's brother ben just graduated from vet school, so we are loving having our cousins here for a couple weeks before they make the move to oklahoma! 
we also now live just around the corner from tyler's sister amy and her family. lucy loves her cousin blake and has been having so much fun with her the last couple weeks!
we have enjoyed a fabulous family night this week with the whole crosland gang, and today had so much fun playing at this cute play-place-gym in centerville with all of the kids again.


Little miss Clara has been the dream baby so far... knock on wood.
She has been so sweet, and so so cute!
I'll post her 2 week stats later this week when I take some more pics of our little cutie.

    We reported that rain gutter a long time ago! I can't believe it's still like that. (And it looks like no one is weeding...) Congrats to you guys on the move. We still miss that neighborhood.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
