grandma's goods.

So, church last sunday was a complete bust!

we got all ready to go, tyler went down to start the car, and came up and said we're staying home!

we had a ton of snow, and LOTS of wind, and my car needed new tires, and wasn't parked in the garage... Cars were off the side of the road by our apartments, etc... Lucy shed actual tears about not being able to go to nursery, but it all turned out alright in the end. We're now on Harry Potter #4 in our marathon.... Yesss...

Monday Lucy got her big surprise from Grandma Bonnie & Papa Jeff! Her very own Wiggle-Rider! Yay! She has always loved playing on Blake's and is so excited to have her own! She rides it around our kitchen all day long and Clara chases her as fast as she can! We're excited to really test it out at our church playgroup tomorrow!

this girl cracks me up... again with the i need a nap, but if i get one i won't go to bed until really late, ugh!

and the biggest news this week, Grandma Carrie came to visit! Yay!

Lucy got to stay up extra late to come with me to get grandma from the airport and was SO excited about her new book that has grandma's voice in it, and her new Rapunzel doll for her birthday!

Friday we had a fun day with Grandma! She went to a spin class with me, and we went shopping in the afternoon with the two girlies! She actually babysat that night for us while we went to dinner for a couple hours with some friends in the ward- Jenny & David, and Rob & Kim. Thanks mama!

Saturday Lucy had her swimming lessons, and after that we went to lunch and came home and put the girls down for a nap, then me and my mom went shopping... again... and went and saw 'The Vow'. Loved it. I love any chick flick though... We had a quick dinner at Qdoba, and headed home.

Sunday we made it to church- Yay! 

We really don't sit on the stage normally... haha... Tyler went to take Clara out cuz she was fussy and sat down back there for a minute, Lucy spotted him back there and made a run for it! She is quick that girl! She had a pretty bad cough all weekend, and has had a fever, so no nursery for her, we ran my mom home with the girls, and Tyler made it back for priesthood. Hopefully next week we'll all make it for the full 3 hours! We're looking forward to going to the temple on Saturday though in Bismarck. The stake center is right by the temple so couples take turns babysitting while everyone else does a session. Awesome!

Monday we hung out that morning because Lucy was still fever-ish, and met Tyler for lunch. We went grocery shopping, and just hung out before she had to leave that afternoon!

I didn't take very many pictures at all, because mainly we just hung out! But it was so nice to have my mom here! I'm SO excited to go home in April! My friend Amy and I are driving out right before General Conference and spending that whole week there! Yay!

Thanks for coming mom we had a blast!

Lucy has woken up the past two nights with a SUPER high fever, like burning! She has been SO out of it all night, and slept all day today basically, but as soon as she has medicine seems fine. It's so weird. Every winter she gets sick like this, and it's always just a really high fever, nothing else, and every time I've taken her to the Dr. with like a 105 degree fever, they just tell me to keep up on the Tylenol and Ibuprofen to keep her fever down. She is still happy as a clam, so I'm hoping she is better tomorrow!

Life here has been good so far! It's starting to warm up actually, and I am wanting some sunshine SOOO badly! It was warm enough to run outside yesterday, and it was amazing.... I need to find some good running places, etc... So i can get back into the swing of things. I really do love to run, and just being outside makes me feel so much better. 

Already counting down the days to Lake Powell this year... I need some warmth and sunshine to look forward too!
