spring has sprung!
we had another great week... it has been warming up and we LOVE the warm weather!
Lucy is currently the queen of falling asleep in the most random places/positions possible.
She insisted on wearing her Rapunzel dress and wings to the YMCA daycare Monday, and all throughout walmart afterwards.... and then fell asleep in the cart.
Tuesday the weather was finally warm enough to go playoutside! We met a bunch of friends at the park and had so much fun-- Lucy ran and ran and ran, and was so dirty! The adults got Qdoba, and all the kiddos got McDonalds and played on the playplace for dinner. We went with Jenny & David, Jaymie & Mark, and Angie & Chris. We're so glad we've made some good friends since being here.
Wednesday we cleaned, and it was warm enough again to run outside. Yay!
Thursday we went to go pick up grandma Bonnie from the airport!
We have been so lucky to have both of our moms come to see us, and we have loved it!
Grandma got to come with us to watch Lucy at gymnastics-- this is Lucy being a 'monkey'. She loves gymnastics and could play on the bars all day!
That night a bunch of our friends had a Paula Deen cooking/girls night over at Jaymie's house. I made this Caramel Apple Streusel Cheesecake.... Oh my heck. Sooo good. And we had SOOO much food all night! There was a LOT of food consumption. Bless you Paula Deen!
I ended up staying out WAY too late and rolled in around 3:30am.... but had so much fun, and have not laughed that hard in such a long time!
Friday Lucy had a little birthday party for one of her friends, Eva. She wore her Rapunzel dress without knowing that was the theme and had a blast playing with her new friends.
Bonnie and I went walked with the kids to the park that afternoon, then we went to dinner that night where both girls fell asleep at the table. Haha...
Saturday was St. Patricks Day! We drove down to Bismarck to go to the zoo, which I'll post about later, and had a blast! I decided to dye our milk green last second, which in turn resulted in green cereal, green bottles for Clara, and just by chance since we got home late we decided to make crepes, and ended up having green crepes! Lucy at first wasn't so sure about the milk, but then decided she LOVED green milk! I sure hope she can go back to white ok!
Bonnie was able to come to church with us on Sunday, and I was called to be a sunbeam teacher! Yay! I really do love kids that age, so it will be fun. A few of Lucy's friends are in that class too, so it should be some good fun!
Sunday night Clara just started walking all over the place with her little stroller! Ah! She will be walking before I know it, I'm dying! She is seriously the cutest thing ever. She is cruising all over the place!
We had SO much fun with Grandma Bonnie! I think we were kind of boring hosts, but Lucy was in HEAVEN! Grandma brought the girls are sorts of goodies-- Lucy got a horse puzzle, some My Little Pony books, some cool bath toys, They each got an outfit, and Clara got some cute little teething rings which she loves! They are definitely spoiled by their Grandma!
Lucy loved that Grandma would read her all the books she wanted, and had Grandma's attention 100% of the time! I think that was the best part!
Thank you so so so much for coming Bonnie! These girls love Grandma Bonnie and we can't wait to see her again in a few weeks!

Sunbeams - yay!!!! They seriously are the BEST. I miss being in Sunbeams; they're adorable. And so are your kids! Looks like you guys are having a blast!
