weekly doings.

clara had spaghetti this week... such a cutie. i'm obsessed. she is the cutest baby in the universe.

we have had a good week. it has been like 60-70 degrees all week! Thank the heavens! I LOVE to be outside. There is something about sunshine that makes me feel joyous. Yep. joyous.

nothing too exciting going on this week for us. we had a little relief society lunch bunch on monday at... wait.. you guessed it, Qdoba! Haha.. I think i'm going to make a goal to try everything on their menu before the end of the year. Then we had the missionaries over for dinner again that night. tyler was in dickinson wed night, so the girls and i headed to 'pizza ranch' with my friend jaymie and her fam-- the kids were putting on quite the show all night. it was awesome.

 lucy loves to color. she is so funny-- lines up all of her crayons and always colors in little tiny squiggles all over her paper. I always let her stay up later with me when tyler is gone-- aka, I'm too lazy to put her to bed, but I love hanging out with little lucy!

thursday the weather was so nice we went and played with jenny and her girls, Ju-ju and Georgia on the playground behind the YMCA after working out. Lucy was in heaven and Clara even had her first ride on the swings!

thursday night we had a relief society get together for the big ol' birthday! we had a pasta bar, i made some yummy sauce and meatballs, and we had a good evening where I again ended up laughing so hard all night. I'm so glad we've made some good friends already!

today we had our friends celeste, and her little boy anson over to play during the day, and tonight we watched my friend's amy's kids while her and her hubby went out to dinner. they are watching our kids tomorrow night so tyler and i can go out! Perfect! stewart is 6 and is so cute with clara, and lucy and ashlyn are the same age and are the cutest little friends. I'm so glad lucy has found a friend who likes to hug and hold hands as much as she does! Haha. But really-- Lucy has so many little friends her age here, it's perfect! She loves going to the YMCA to play with her friends in the morning while I workout. yay!

looking forward to running tomorrow morning with a few friends in our ward, and going to see the hunger games, and dinner with friends!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
