Christmas Eve

 Merry Christmas Eve! We had a fabulous Christmas Eve this year spent with the Crosland Fam! 
It's so nice just to relax and hang out with family! Lucy and Blake always have so much fun together!
 We admired Bonnie's beautiful new ring, that was NOT a Christmas gift! ;-)
 Acted out a mini Nativity, where Blake, as the angel, stood and gave a 5 minute long speech about the birth of our savior! That girl is amazing I tell ya! She also sang us a beautiful Christmas song!
Lucy was an awesome sidekick! Haha
 We had a fabulous dinner, with our favorite Crab legs! Yumm...

 We watched an animated Nativity movie
 While Tyler did the dishes... he's such a good dish man it's amazing! 
 Lucy then finally decided to sing for us, but decided to go with 'I am a Child of God' instead of Christmas song- it's kind of her specialty! She's such a cutie.
 We then opened our Books and the girls their Christmas jammies!
 and of course... the boys got Helicopters! My favorite crash was the one straight into the Dessert! Haha...
 We played games with everyone for a while after putting the girls to bed-- well, we put Lucy and Blake in the same bed, so just letting them play... Haha. But we had so much fun! After we really got Lucy in bed, and Amy & Luke headed home I ran over to my mom's for a minute to say Hi to everyone over there, and open up my Christmas jammies, and bring Tyler back his!

 We had a wonderful Christmas eve! And as always, I always wish I could be in two places at once! We're so lucky our families live so close to each other so we can see both of them when we fly back here! Up next... Christmas Day!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
