Merry Christmas!

 Merry Christmas! We woke up Christmas morning at the Croslands, and had to wake the girls up at 8am! Haha.. We headed upstairs for a prayer, and to say hello to puppy Indy of course!
 Lucy got her very own Cowgirl hat and rope from Papa, and the hat actually fits Clara! and Clara loves it! I love those sleepy eyes!
Santa brought Clara her very own stroller and car seat for her Belle baby! She love loves it!
 Lucy got some princess dresses, and YES, her very own Cash Register! She was thrilled!!
 2012 was the year of the camera! Lucy got her very own digital camera from Grandma Bonnie and Papa! She is obsessed, and takes pictures of everything!
She also got this adorable 'Bear-Vest' as Lucy calls it! She loves her fur vest!
 Jessi also got a camera! Lucky duck!
 Clara got a fun art-set from them, and we love that you can color with water! The girls love it!
 and we got the best gift Ever.... a Vita Mix! We got it sent here, and love love it already! We can't thank you enough Bonnie & Jeff!
Tyler got me that fabulous get-away to the Alaskan Inn, along with some things that we went shopping together for! We're boring, but it's perfect for us!
 Tyler got a bunch of little things from me the week before we came while he was home alone! Just some movies, candy, socks, a bunch of clothes, shave stuff, sausages & cheese, etc... Tyler is the worst to shop for!
We had a yummy yummy breakfast of delicious scones and fruit, and around 10 headed over to the Brock Residence!
My WHOLE fam dam was able to be there, and it was so fun to all open presents together!
I'm pretty sure we took forever opening presents, like until one, but there were a LOT of us!
 Lucy got her married ring in her stocking!

 Lucy's first present was her mommy and daddy Kangaroo, and the kid! Yay!! She was seriously THRILLED! Haha, jumping up and down screaming! Hilarious.
 Cheryl got the pickle ornament from Germany, and we had to search for it on the tree-- Shawn one and got the unknown gift from the pickle!

 Clara was SO funny opening gifts... look at her face opening these pants. Pants! Haha. Love it!
and Lucy was SO excited about her new Rapunzel outfit!
 and of course... Carter and Clara found a box to play in!
 Our parents got us an awesome car DVD system, a bunch of clothes, scarves/gloves, hats, etc... Lucy and Clara got the coolest princess Castle ever! We had to return it, and buy one online to get here because it was WAY too big! Haha. But they are obsessed with it! Clara also got a sweet baby doll, the cutest outfit ever and some princesses for their castle, Lucy got her Kangaroos, married rings, an adorable outfit, and her Rapunzel outfit. She got the adorable tea set from Carter!
 We had a lazy Christmas and just hung out! Tyler took Lucy sledding with Amy, Luke, Blake and Callie while Clara was sleeping.
We had a yummy dinner of steak, and twice baked potatoes with the whole fam-dam, and Aunt Cindy!
And of course... we finished a puzzle!
It was SUCH a good day. And I'm pretty sure I ate for 48 hours straight. It was awesome! I love spending Christmas with family!

    um Lucy's HAIR! amazing amazing. i've never seen a girl her age with that kind of hair! all of these look so fun, i love looking at your pictures after cheryl visits...she needs a blog!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
