Thanksgiving/Cowboy Christmas!!

Image
Well... Our Thanksgiving was rather uneventful. Tyler was a true champ and hung out with my family ALL weekend! His parents and Jessi went to go see Ben, Carrie, and Cody in Washington so they weren't around, so our time which is normally split up between the two families was all dedicated to mine. Poor kid- haha. We drove up there Wednesday night and weren't back here until late last night! We had a nice weekend though- we really just hung out all weekend and didn't do much. Friday night we went to dinner with Porter and Erika and got treated like royalty. Haha- seriously we had the best waiter we have ever had in our whole lives! Porter told our waiter- who was Russian- that Tyler was rich, and I think the guy must have believed him because he gave us great service- perhaps in hope of a great tip? It was pretty funny. Saturday was definately the highlight of the weekend though- starting about 5 years ago my dad bought this cowboy christmas CD and at first all of us Brock ...

I heart Carrie...Porter and Erika... and more!

Well this past week was full of fun and eventful things! Highlight #1: Porter and Erika finally got hitched- yay! They started dating when me and Tyler did, so we are glad they finally did it! They had their dinner last night, and everything else today. We were able to attend their sealing- and their sealer was so cute and funny. I'll be honest- I've been to some weddings where the sealer just kept on talking for like ages- this guy gave great advice, was funny, and fairly quick. Perfect! Here are some pics from the wedding festivites: At the wedding dinner--Tyler loving my growing belly. I swear I am just huge! Us and the happy couple- I look like a giant next to cute Erika! The 'boys'. Casey, Drew, Nate, Jake, Ty, Porter, Quinn, Brad, and Blair Me and Nate's belly's... he thought he was as big as me.. come on! Coming out- her dress was absolutely gorgeous. Probably my favorite dress I have seen ever! Ty just saving the steps for the photographer... Cute Cake--...

Frustrated

I am ready for school to be done- I am slacking. I'll be honest- I'll probably just get ok grades, and I am totally ok with that. Sorry to let you down mom and dad- oh well- they aren't even paying for my school anymore! I'm glad my husband is more motivated than I am. Cheer- Ahhh... Enough said. To all you moms out there- if you have a problem tell the coach about it or else she can do nothing to fix the problem. If you tell her when its too late- too bad. I'm just frustrated by cheer tonight- I try my best- but yet- it's still not enough sometimes. Seriously- its the one thing I am focused and motivated by. I love my girls to death- but man o man- I don't remember having this many obstacles when I was in high school- or maybe my coach was just way better at hiding things from us! We have competition in 3 weeks and I feel as if we may never be ready- and why is it that the girl who wants it the most gets hurt and can't do it anymore? God works in myster...

Christmas

I like my Christmas background, Ok? I know it's only November- but I am totally a Christmas nerd. I listen to FM 100 and love it. And...and... The sooner the Holidays get here and are over the sooner my baby is here! And I am just really ready for her to be here! And I still have 3 more months! Ah! Also- Ty got his blood drawn this morning. He is normal after all! I knew you all were dying to know. Not really- but I was worried for a minute. My cheerleaders first compeition is in a month- Eh! I am a little bit nervous for them to be honest- I think we keep having girl after girl injured. Im turning into my mom too- they dont' listen unless I yell! Lucky I like them! Haha.. I really do- they are just high school girls. Enough said! Wish us Luck!

Getting our blood drawn...

Well. Yesterday- I survived getting my blood drawn a second time. I had to drink the fabulous orange drink- that tasted like orange soda, but made me feel a little high- I try so so hard to stay calm on the way to the doctors office, but i don't know what it is about 5 minutes before we get there my emotions get the best of me. I know it doesn't hurt- I had it done a few months ago and it didn't hurt at all!! ((I still think it doesn't hurt at all.. seriously- no pain.) I dont' know what it is, but I get so terrified and my body just like goes into breakdown mode. The poor nurse trying to take my blood pressure--as silent tears just pour down my face and im shaking-- the whole time thinking in my head that I am such a retard because it doesn't even hurt-- and she thinks I am nervous to get my blood pressure taken.. Sidenote- she had to take my blood pressure like 4 different times, then again like 15 minutes after I got my blood drawn because apparantly my blood...

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas...??

So this morning as I got into my car covered in snow- freezing my tail off- and turned on the radio to hear, "Just hear those sleigh bells ring-a-ling-ring-ting-ting-a-ling too..." I was thinking it had to be December! You can always count on FM 100 and Cozy 106.5 to play those Christmas tunes starting November 1st! Ty was a little bummed about the snow of course, but I couldn't be more excited! I always start to crave the snow and cold about October- so I love it! Also- Ski Season... even if I can't ski I think I might just go sit up at Snowbasin sometimes.... I can always look forward to March and April Spring Skiing... yay! Also- Snow means its that much closer to February!! [[I just had this terrible thought---if you remember this year on Feb. 13th there was this terrible blizzard and everyone was stuck on the highway for like 8 hours--- Uhm-- what if that happens this year when im rushing to american fork to deliver my child?? Ah! I always have what if.. thought...
