It's beginning to look alot like Christmas...??

So this morning as I got into my car covered in snow- freezing my tail off- and turned on the radio to hear, "Just hear those sleigh bells ring-a-ling-ring-ting-ting-a-ling too..." I was thinking it had to be December! You can always count on FM 100 and Cozy 106.5 to play those Christmas tunes starting November 1st! Ty was a little bummed about the snow of course, but I couldn't be more excited! I always start to crave the snow and cold about October- so I love it! Also- Ski Season... even if I can't ski I think I might just go sit up at Snowbasin sometimes.... I can always look forward to March and April Spring Skiing... yay! Also- Snow means its that much closer to February!!
[[I just had this terrible thought---if you remember this year on Feb. 13th there was this terrible blizzard and everyone was stuck on the highway for like 8 hours--- Uhm-- what if that happens this year when im rushing to american fork to deliver my child?? Ah! I always have what if.. thoughts...]]
I am getting so excited for our little baby girl to just be here already! Now the time is just dragging on.. hopefully once Thanksgiving hits it will speed up a bit. I am already having problems shopping all the time.. and am really desperate for some cute bedding?? Any advice?? Im just not loving all the floral/baby pink crap!! Haha.. I like bright fun colors... you will have to give me some places if you know of any.
Life is great. I think I could just sit still all day and feel my little girl just jump around inside of me all day. It is so crazy to think I am pregnant still. She must be a little gymnast too because I swear she never stops moving! I love it though- as long as she isn't hurting me!

Mark Hoskins funeral was beautiful. It is so weird to think he is my dad's age... Wow. Only 47 years old. I can't imagine losing my dad right now- I knew I would cry at the funeral- I mean I'm pregnant- but I was dang near sobbing. Not because it was so sad- I know he is in a better place, but maybe just because it was such a wake up call. I love my dad and would be lost without him! Those boys are tough.. it was so cute to see them all just take care of their mom and little sister like that.
Afterwards my mom, and her two best friends (my second mothers) Coleen and Kathy all went to lunch. I can only hope I have that good of friends when I am my moms age! They are all so funny and fun. I miss living close to Kaysville because I miss my mom! (and her cute friends) I think thats also because Cheryl lives down here, so whenever I do want to hang out or go to lunch with someone I just call her. --I really should try to get out with friends more. We do have a great ward and really cute girls in it! So-- to anyone who has some free time down in utah valley and wants to go roam the mall or any boutiques or baby stores with me and go to lunch occasionally just let me know! I really do have all the time in the world!
And I voted yesterday- not that our votes really count in this election- but hey- I did my duty! It will be interesting to see where Obama will take us! We'll just have to wait and see...

  1. I hate that they started to play Christmas music. Ah! I am such a grinch when it comes to early holiday decorations. I bet his funeral was tough. My mom had cancer and the doctors weren't sure if the surgery would take all of it out. She luckly had it all removed but I remember thinking that I could be losing my mom at age 19. It was a scary thought. Those boys are tough.

Have any ideas on how to keep my child from the christmas tree? About the baby bedding, I had the hardest time too...I didnt want little cartoon caracters or drawing or sails so it was rough..just keep looking and google girl baby bedding :) I wish I was in Utah Valley cause I would hang out with you all the time!
