Thanksgiving/Cowboy Christmas!!
Well... Our Thanksgiving was rather uneventful. Tyler was a true champ and hung out with my family ALL weekend! His parents and Jessi went to go see Ben, Carrie, and Cody in Washington so they weren't around, so our time which is normally split up between the two families was all dedicated to mine. Poor kid- haha. We drove up there Wednesday night and weren't back here until late last night! We had a nice weekend though- we really just hung out all weekend and didn't do much. Friday night we went to dinner with Porter and Erika and got treated like royalty. Haha- seriously we had the best waiter we have ever had in our whole lives! Porter told our waiter- who was Russian- that Tyler was rich, and I think the guy must have believed him because he gave us great service- perhaps in hope of a great tip? It was pretty funny.
Saturday was definately the highlight of the weekend though- starting about 5 years ago my dad bought this cowboy christmas CD and at first all of us Brock kids thought it was seriously torture, but over the years it has become our favorite christmas CD! Well this year Michael Martin Murphy was coming to Roosevelt, Utah and my dad bought us all tickets! So Saturday afternoon we loaded everyone up and started the trek out to Roosevelt! We had a fine dining experience at JB's and then arrived at Roosevelt Jr. High for the show! Michael Martin Murphy was amazing, even if it was a bit long. (The show started at 7 and ended at 11pm!!) It definately made for some good memories though!
