Frustrated
I am ready for school to be done- I am slacking. I'll be honest- I'll probably just get ok grades, and I am totally ok with that. Sorry to let you down mom and dad- oh well- they aren't even paying for my school anymore! I'm glad my husband is more motivated than I am.
Cheer- Ahhh... Enough said. To all you moms out there- if you have a problem tell the coach about it or else she can do nothing to fix the problem. If you tell her when its too late- too bad. I'm just frustrated by cheer tonight- I try my best- but yet- it's still not enough sometimes. Seriously- its the one thing I am focused and motivated by. I love my girls to death- but man o man- I don't remember having this many obstacles when I was in high school- or maybe my coach was just way better at hiding things from us! We have competition in 3 weeks and I feel as if we may never be ready- and why is it that the girl who wants it the most gets hurt and can't do it anymore? God works in mysterious ways. Wish us luck! Sometimes I wish I could just compete for them- but- I can't. It's a challenge being a coach sometimes. I do love it- it's just frustrating at times.
I have no desire to do anything but eat, scrapbook, do crafts, and shop. I am so spoiled- Help!
Life really is good- just an overwhelming evening. What more can you expect from a parents meeting? I was just asking for it...
P.S. Tyler is the best listener- he just listens to my vent and complain about all these problems and doesn't even give a word of advice on how to solve the problems. Haha.. I just love him.

I'm sorry that sounds tough. Good luck at your competition though, hopefully things get better!
ReplyDeleteWell my dear, my sister felt the same way and probably still does! Some of the moms just dont understand that everything can't be the exact way they want them and that the coach is doing all that she can to make things as good as possible! They don't relize how much the coaches put into it and how you can really offend and hurt the coach by the things they say and do. GOOD LUCK! It seems like things are never ready by the time competition rolls around, it's hard! I want to come down and do crafts..really lets go to lunch once Nates family is gone in 10 days!
ReplyDeleteOh car car, I'm so sorry for the frustration. I can't imagine how our poor coaches felt. I'm sure we were awful sometimes. But I'm sure everything will fall into place and they'll do great!
ReplyDeleteAnd as for the spoiled part, there is no help in that. That's the nature of us girls! Ben said the other day if I could scrapbook, paint, shop, shop for other's babies, and bake all day I totally would. And boy is he right!!!
ps I love your background
