Windows, and Belly Pics

We have windows on our apartment- as Im sure most of you do, but I'm not sure why. We live in a great little four plex- 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, nice living room- overall after living here for almost 2 years I am very happy with the place (minus the whole no dishwasher deal- )but even as of lately I have gotten over that... my new thing is that our windows absolutely SUCK. They keep out no noice, offer no insulation, etc... If you get close to a window in the winter it's freezing, we're on the upper floor so we dont' have too big of a problem, but spiders can crawl in too. I don't think one window has a screen, they all fog up if one of us is in the tub or has recently showered so you can't see out of them, and did I mention you can hear every little thing that goes on outside as clear as if you were there? I am a very very deep sleeper and sometimes i'll wake up to the little kids walking by to school, i can hear the bloody birds every morning, and the wonderful conversations and cars starting by our neighbors. Anyway- our windows are useless.

Here are some pictures of mine and Ty's belly's as of tonight! I go to the doc tomorrow- i'll update after he tells me that nothing is still going on, even at 40 wks! haha...

    Carly your belly is taking over your whole body!....get her out of there already!! Wow your belly is as big as the rest of your entire body haha....oh and I love how Tyler has a belly shot too...priceless.

    tyler, you look exhausted from carrying around all that extra weight... carly you look adorable! let us know when the baby makes her appearance!

    (tyler- ben cries himself to sleep every night because he doesn't get to see you on a daily basis)

    You are about to popp and you still look so dang cute! I am so excited for you! And after seeing that picture of your apartment, and hearing the details, I am fairly sure we live in the exact same apartment. Although yours looks a lot nicer :) haha

    Carly you have got to be the cutest little preggy! You have gained ZERO pounds anywhere but that belly! So so cute, I hope Lucy comes tomorrow!!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
