and she Skis!


 This little cute got to go skiing for her first time while we were in Utah! I know, I know... she should have started 2 years ago. Haha, but she had SO much fun, and was a natural of course! ;-) My mom teaches up at Snowbasin a couple days a week for fun, so she was so excited to finally teach Lucy! And Lucy was thrilled to have Grandma Carrie be her teacher! It was seriously 60 degrees even up at the resort and we had SO much fun! Clara and Candace came with us as well.
It's seriously my favorite place ever...
 It was obviously super slushy, but that didn't stop Lu! She was having a blast!
They went on 2 runs before lunch, then later she wanted to go on one more before we had to leave!
Check out those glasses too! She kept them on ALL day!
 This was my first time skiing in a T shirt... I loved the weather, not so much the snow...
 Here's where cute Clara hung out most the time, but she was in heaven just being outside AND watching Mickey Mouse... a Clara dream right there!
We then took the girls up the gondola to eat lunch up at the Middle Bowl Lodge
It was seriously the perfect day! The kids had so much fun, and we got to be outside in the sunshine all day. I'm a bit of a sun worshiper if you didn't already know... it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! After lunch Candace and I made a few runs while my mom took the girls back down the gondola! The snow was soooo bad, but it still felt so good to ski again. Oh how I love it...
Oh, and I am well aware that I look like megamind. My big ol' helmet didn't look so good especially ont op of my big ol' bun. But whatevs... Safety first! ;-)

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
