Bear Lake 2014

apparently I now like to start my blog posts with cloud pictures! But really? How gorgeous is Bear Lake! 

We went up to Bear Lake June 30-July 3. The girls and I went up Monday with my family, and Tyler came up Tuesday morning with Kyle and his friend Mary. We had such a fun week swimming at the pool, watching the world cup, riding bikes, playing on the beach, and riding in the boat! Lucy is such a fish, and we love anytime we're at the beach!
This years crew includes: Kerry, and Carrie. Shawn, Melissa, Carter, Katelyn. Me, Tyler, Lucy, Clara. Kyle and Mary jane. and Candace and her boyfriend Terrick. 
Other highlights include: laughing hysterically at Kyle's REALLY bad haircut, eating Raspberry Shakes multiple nights, and tumbling on the grass. 
And because I'm so behind- let's let the pictures speak for themselves! Can't wait until next year!
Lucy has a very interesting relationship with her bike. She can ride it without training wheels, but it's terrifying to her. She is sobbing here because I let go of her bike and she was pedaling by herself. I just think she didn't get any time with the training wheels, so she really wanted them back on! So she did! Silly girl. I love her!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
