June Fun

You guys June was CRAZYYYYY. I know I was 'moving to Utah' for the summer. But out of 30 days I think I was at my mom's house for like 7 days. It was a bit chaotic. Here's how it went down- we got home from Yellowstone/Idaho unpacked, went to Lake Powell for 8 days, then I went to Park City with Tyler, we ended up in the ER-- that's a story for another day, then Tyler flew home, The girls were sick for 3 days, so was Tyler. I flew to Minot for about a week to be with Tyler in the hospital. We flew back together. I was home for a day, then Jaymie came into town for a couple days (So fun!!), then we went to Bear Lake for a week, then it was the 4th of July... Oh ya. Then June was over. And we're all still alive. I call that a WIN!
Anyway. Here's my car. It's ridiculously full. I think i'm going to have a a sale before we go back.... Ah!
 It's good to be home. My mom's 3 adult children home for the summer. At least Candace just barely graduated from highschool. Haha!
 We of course went to Cherry Hill the next day with all of our cousins! Let's get this party started!
 In between Costco, getting my hair done, and packing for Lake Powell I was able to go see my cute friend Kinzie! Oh I wish we lived closer. We did UCA together. Love her!
 We got home from Lake Powell at 11pm Friday night, and Saturday morning I woke up at 3am and headed down to Provo to run the Utah Valley Half Marathon! It was a fun race, but not as downhill as I had hoped! Haha. My training really went horrible too, and after the exhaustion of Lake Powell and no sleep, etc.. etc.. I was just happy to finish! It actually went a lot better than I anticipated and I finished in 1:52. And got to see one of my cute cheerleaders Abby at the finish line-- she was my youngest, and is now graduated. I'm getting old!

 After a nice shower and nap Tyler and I headed up to Park City to celebrate our anniversary. We had an amazing dinner up there, but the next morning Tyler's bladder infection had spread to his Kidney... so we ended up in the ER. I'll do a full 'Tyler's illness' post coming up. It was awesome.
 We miraculously got Tyler on his flight back to Minot and headed to Orem to my grandpa's house for Father's Day! Lucy was so excited to play with Nash!
 Wednesday we were able to meet up with Michelle and Emily. Unfortunately Lucy was I guess still sick? She was bouncing off the walls that morning but got over to Michelle's house and she crashed on the couch! That's what too much playing will do to ya! Exhasuted!
 Clara had so much fun playing with Ruby and Izzy, and baby Zoe is the cutest everrr.

and then Clara crashed on the couch over at Amy's house.
 and then I ended up back in Minot. Post to come!
The girls were well taken care of by Grandma Bonnie, Grandma Carrie, Amy, and Candace! Thank goodness for our families.
 We made it back just in time for me to go to the girl's last swimming lesson! They had a blast!
 We've had SO much fun with our cute cousins and playing in Grandma's backyard!
 Lucy finally got a big girl bike too!
 And my parents got a swing set! Best purchase ever. The kids have been having SO much fun out there!
 It didn't take them long to learn how to flip....
 and of course lots more Cherry Hill trips!
It's been such a fun summer, even amid the craziness. We miss Tyler like crazy, but the girls are having so much fun being able to play outside all the time and play with their cousins!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
