the noels come to grandma carrie's!

hip, hip, hooray! Jaymie and her kids came to stay at my mom's for a couple days! I had actually just seen her a few days before when I was in Minot with Tyler, but our girls were SO excited to be reunited! It really was the cutest thing ever! We had a quick 36 hours, but packed the fun in! First item of business was heading to the Farm! Amy & Luke are amazing and helped all the kids ride! They seriously are the best!
and this is Clara's mischievous face at it's finest. Oh she's so cute!

 The kids all stayed up super late and watched a moving on the projector downstairs. And Ruby even got to sleep in the girl's room. Best night ever!
 We spent the next day at Cherry Hill. Ivy and Oliver are such good sports. Violet hangs out with the little girls quite a bit, but I know Lucy and Clara can't be that exciting for the older ones! Haha. 
and I had so much fun with Jaymie. The hardest part about being in Utah- aside from being away from Tyler of course- is being away from my cute friends! 
Oh how I've missed sweet Eleanor! she was pretty exhausted after swimming and fell right to sleep on my lap! I need a baby stat!
 These two really had so much fun together! 
 We spent the night at Station Park while the kids played at the park while Jaymie and I did some quick shopping. We had some yummy Pizza and gelato at Settebello and the kids had so much fun dancing in front of the fountains until like 11! I love that we both bought our girls the same outfits at different times, so we had to coordinate them of course. ;-)
The little girls all fell asleep on the way back home thankfully, and they headed out early the next morning! It was so fun to hang out with them, and even better in a place where there are so many fun things to do! Gotta love Minot... Haha! Please come again soon Jaymie! ;-)

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
