Dad's Grad
So my cute dad graduated from college- again! I've been teasing him and Cheryl with that line all year. They both got their masters degrees this year. He did the Executive MBA Program at BYU for the last year and a half and is pretty awesome. He was in the top 5% of his class, and is Mr. Smarty pants. My dad grew up with no money, and barely graduated high school, and has since worked so hard for everything he has. I'm so proud to call him my dad! I love you dad! Bat wings and all!
My awesome in-laws took the girls and Cheryl, Candace, and I made a day of it! We went down a few hours early so we could do a few important things: pick up my race packet, drive by 63 East, eat J-Dawgs, and help Candace find all of her classes on Campus without sweating to death. The last one was a close call...
But J-Dawgs. It's been a few years. Still SO good. I was reminiscing about wearing Green to school every wednesday just so I could get one of those suckers, chips, and a drink for like $2. Go UVU! ;-)
63 is looking better than ever. I still love that place! 4 1/2 years of our lives were there! Where we brought both babies home too. It was the best location, and I miss Orem sometimes!
Cute Candy. Can't believe she'll start college next week! Cutest BYU Cheerleader ever!
Love my sisters.
We were pretty far back and out of the way, but still had the grouchiest lady sitting behind us. It was pretty hilarious. My mom's 5 adult children with no kids, and we still get yelled at... What gives?! It's a good thing Kyle didn't hear her... because well... if you know Kyle. It would have been pretty funny though.
Since it was the summer graduation there weren't too many people graduating, so we were done pretty quick! Yipee!
Gooooo Kerry!
Things got a little awkward when my dad tried to kiss one of the guys just trying to shake his hand. Poor guy. Kidding, kidding. But such a great picture.
My adorable parents.
The original Brock clan. So fun we could all be there! I sure do like these people.
and Melissa too! ;-)
How cute are my parents? The older I get, the more I realize how lucky I am to have two parents who are still so in love. They are the cutest! Go Carrie & Kerry!
Love these two sisters of mine.
We were able to all go to dinner afterwards and have some quality fam time. Thanks for graduating dad! We should try to get together more often! ;-)
