Ogden Temple & Family Fun

 We were able to go with the Crosland Fam to the Ogden Temple open house on Friday, August 8th. Everyone was able to be there except for Tyler, Kevin, and Ben. I love seeing all these cute cousins together!

 My family actually ended up getting tickets at the same time, so we saw them there! I was so excited to take Lucy. She always seems so close to the spirit, and has such a great interest and excitement for things like this! With all of our family though I think she kind of bounced around, but I was able to be with her through the endowment room and celestial room. She is just so sweet, and has been wanting to go inside a temple forever! I'm so glad I got to take my girls! 
 Cheryl flew in the night before. The girls are pretty much obsessed with her!

 We had a fun dinner before the Temple, and afterwards had root-beer floats to celebrate Papa Jeff's birthday! Grandma had these cute little gift baskets for all the kids that had things symbolizing the temple. She is so sweet! It was such a fun night with our families!
The night before, Cheryl flew in! Finally! Lucy has literally been counting down the days until she got here! The girls were so excited to pick her up from the airport. Along with 100 other families picking up missionaries! Only in Utah... haha!
We stopped at In N' Out on the way home with everyone. Love these cute kids! 

 The next day we snuck in one more fun day at Cherry Hill before Carrie and her kids had to leave. Lucy, Macey, and Blake went on Cardiac Canyon for the first time all by themselves. They were so excited!

We even got to do the Jungle boats, play place, and the new Jungle Maze. Awesome!
 Carrie had MacKayla's birthday party that night up at her parents house! It was so fun. She had the cutest treasure hunt with fun activities, and a yummy ice cream cake!

 after we said goodbye to Carrie and the kids we met my parents and Cheryl over at Station Park. They were eating at Settebello when the fun concert started. The girls had a ball dancing for the longest time! They had quite the crowd and had us all laughing pretty hard!
 We had a lazy Sunday playing with Aunt Cheryl and getting a gymnastic lesson of course!
 and hooray for the Super moon!
 Still can't believe summer is almost over! Up next... our fun week with Aunt Cheryl!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
