july summer fun...

more summertime fun with my cute girls....
the 5th of July we spent the day with Grandma at Station Park, had dinner at Red Robin with the Crosland's, then headed back to the Crosland's for some fireworks!
Tyler headed back to North Dakota on the 6th, and we resumed life as normal at Grandma's! Swimming at their neighbor's the Orison's pool. Clara loovvveees face planting.
Finally saw Megan and Heather! The kids played at the park while we tried to keep everyone from dying!
Went to the Kaysville Farmer's market where we enjoyed some high quality entertainment! Haha! The girls were in heaven!
Had a fun day at the zoo with Grandma Bonnie, and cousins Blake, Callie, and Daisy.
We went on a cooler day, but that didn't stop the kids from playing on the splash pad! 
Went to Layton Surf n' Swim with my mom and dad, and Carter and Katelyn! Lucy learned how to jump off the diving board and swim to the edge all by herself!
it was our Dentist's party, so we had lots of free food!
Jeff and Bonnie got a new puppy! A German wire-haired pointer. He's so cute!
and a new side by side to take to the cabin. These girls Love it!
Carter turned 4! We went over to Shawn and Mel's for cake and ice cream, and presents!
Lucy and Clara were SUPER helpful opening presents! Happy Birthday cute Carter!

Lucy bit into an apple and got a LOOSE TOOTH! What!! Can't believe she's going to start losing those little crooked teeth! I love her.
I spent the day at City Creek with Emily and her sweet baby Zoe!
a fun Cherry Hill day with both Grandma's and all of their cousins! Lucky girls!
Move Live on Tour got delayed a day, but we still had a fun Girls Night at Station Park with CoCo!
My mom surprised the girls and bought them these umbrellas while they weren't paying attention. Clara was SO funny when she found out Grandma bought them. She was ecstatic! "Wucy, Wucy, Look!!! Grandma buyed us the ba-rellas!!!!"
The next night was cute Katie (Burkholz)Stringham's baby shower. CoCo did all the decor, cookies, and it was fabulous of course! and Katie is the cutest ever!
and we made it to Move Live on Tour! Derek and Julianne Hough are AMAZING. It was so so good! Thanks mama!
The girls got to sleepover with Blake and Callie that night! Amy is the best Aunt ever! The next morning Amy and Bonnie took all the girls to Farmington Pond. I ran over there and through the Lagoon trail to say Hi, then back to Bonnie's house. The girls were in heaven!
We ran up to Paige's house to swim with all of my cute friends for a couple hours! Lucy was so excited to see Izzy again! And it was so nice to see Paige, Megan, Michelle, Emily, and Chelsie for a bit. We had to leave way too soon to head off to Bozeman, MT where we met Tyler for the weekend! (Post to come!)
Since then.... Clara has tried on Lucy's ballet clothes to get excited for her Ballet classes to start!

and Lucy lost her tooth! She was just wiggling it, and it popped right out! She was SO excited and put it right under her pillow. After she called all of her closest relatives to share the good news!
and the tooth fairy came! She left her a dollar and a sweet note. She even let Lucy keep her tooth to put in her scrapbook!
The same night she lost her tooth Lucy's crush, Porter's little brother had a big giant first birthday party! They live two doors down and the girls and a blast on the bounce houses, and eating all of the treats!
Clara was stuck to her favorite friend Halle the whole night. We found a perfect babysitter!
the twins... it can be frightening how much alike these two are! Grandpa and Uncle Shawn.
and whenever it rains the creek floods and creates all of these little islands. It's pretty much the most exciting few hours ever!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Rex is a year and a half of craziness. He is so sweet, all over the place, and such a cute kid. He has his mama wrapped around his little chubby sticky finger! Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
