July in ND and the Fair!

We didn't mess around with coming back to Minot! I knew most of my friends would still be out of town for the summer, and that we would need something on the calendar to make sure we were excited to get back! Haha. So we got home Friday, relaxed for the weekend, and Monday kicked things off with Cheer Camp for Lucy at MSU, my 20 week ultrasound/Doctors appointment, and the first day of swimming lessons!
We were especially excited to get home to this cute guy though-- and some of us couldn't figure out why his beard was gone...? Haha!
Lucy had SO much fun at Cheer Camp! It was just Monday and Tuesday from 9-noon, but she thought it was the coolest thing ever. She performed a few cheers, and a short band dance for us Tuesday afternoon. Their cheerleaders maybe aren't the best I've ever seen, but I had to seriously put aside all of my experience and just let her go and have fun! Haha. And that she did. Love my sweet little Lu!
That Wednesday and Thursday the girls had Zoo camp! Clara went from 9-10:30, and Lucy went from 1-3, so I tried to do a little date with each of them that week. Lucy and I went for a bike ride one morning while Clara was gone! I wish we would have had more time, but it was still so fun to spend some time with my little Lu!
The both loved Zoo camp and had so much fun doing art projects and getting to meet some of the animals up close!
I met up with my cute friend Melynn for dinner Thursday night! We coach gymnastics together, and I love her to death. Plus it's so nice to have a reason to shower and eat cheesecake... so there's that!
Friday the 17th the Fair Started! Tyler and I got the grandstand passes, so we headed out Friday night to see Miranda Lambert!
About 21 weeks here!
Love this guy!
Saturday morning we headed out to the State Fair Parade! It was  a bit windy/cold, but the kids loaded up on candy and had a blast. And I love Eleanor!
So happy to be reunited with Ruby Sue!
Sweet Lulu after church!
We're going to move into a cute rental house in a just a few weeks! I'm so excited to have Lucy be able to walk to school, a yard, and a room for the baby, but we're sure going to miss this amazing view and our indoor pool! We've kind of gotten spoiled with hotel-like living this past year!
Tyler took the girls on a date to the fair Monday night! They went to the car races, and saw a few shows. Anything to be with their dad!
Swimming lesson fun! I'm so glad they let Clara go. She is only 4, and they're not supposed to start until 5, but she was way more than ready. They absolutely loved it too! They both swim on their own already, but this helped a ton!
Family Night Fair night again!
We found Lucy's artwork from school in the huge exhibition hall and she got a free sweatshirt!
Had fun at the sea lion, and diving shows! And even got to ride a few rides!
Favorite part-- the mini doughnuts! Ty tried to buy the girls some while they were there Monday night, but had no cash, so he kept telling the girls he had to go to work to make some money to buy the doughnuts! Thank goodness all that work finally paid off!
and the Kelli Pickler concert! The girls thought it was so fun to go to a real life concert, and she was fun to see!
Last day of swim lessons after 2 weeks! I wish I would have gotten a video of Lucy, but I love Clara's cutest backstroke! That girl is a fish!
We made it to the fair AGAIN Friday with the Noel's! Lucy finally lost her front tooth, and the kids had so much fun fishing!
Tyler's parents are the best and drove the boat all the way up here so we can use it for the rest of the summer! They got here Friday night just in time to take us all to dinner and Tyler and I headed out to the Keith Urban concert!
Seriously- best concert I've ever been too. He's already one of my favorite artists, but is seriously insane on the guitar and such an incredible entertainer! I would pay good money to go see him again!
We ended up dragging Tyler's parents around the fair Saturday afternoon! We got to see the pig races, and eat some good fair food! The girls both caught a fish too!
and thanks to Papa and Grandma even did a few rides! Lucy chose these trampolines and once she got the hang of it wouldn't stop flipping! She loved it!
Tooth fairy money well spent!
We spent the rest of the afternoon swimming, then went out for pizza in our pajamas! The girls most favorite part was running around in the fields with Bo- papa's dog! They were maybe the most excited for Bo to come to our house! He's the cutest dog ever!
Grandma and Papa are the best!
Lots of snuggles for Bo!
They headed back Sunday morning, but we're so glad we got them all to ourselves for a couple of days! Can't wait to see them again soon!
