Lucy's 1st Day of 1st Grade!

I still can't believe I have a 1st grader! Lulu is now 6 1/2 and in first grade. Blows my mind! I am getting old! And she is adorable! She was SO excited for school to start and when we went to see who her teacher was posted at the school, her teacher was actually there and Lucy got to meet her! She loved her already. She came home the 1st day bouncing off the walls saying how much she loved her teacher, and that she was even nicer than her teacher last year. I sure love my sweet Lucy!

School started Tuesday, and we didn't move until Thursday, so she got a couple of days of riding down the elevator a few more times! We ended up parking at our house- just because it was easier and walked over! 
 
 
 
 I'm just glad she's still little enough to let me walk her to class! For the first 2 days anyway... Haha!

 We love Mrs. Kemper! She is due a couple weeks after me with her first baby. So fun!
 and Ruby is finally at Edison! Lucy was SO excited to see Ruby Sue at school! I love these two little girls. 
and their cute little sisters too!
 Apparently Day 2 went just as well! ;-)
I'm sure we'll have a great year! Love you Lucy Jane!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
