A quick summer trip to Utah!

We ended up taking a super spontaneous quick trip to Utah in August! I think I just realized I wouldn't be able to go in the Fall like I normally do-- not running the marathon this year, due to sweet little baby cookin' in my belly! So we pretty much packed our bags the day before and headed out on Tuesday morning! We did the trip all in one day both directions this time, and the girls did awesome!
I love all these cute girls watching the Davis County rodeo! Blake and Callie did awesome Muttin bustin', ribbon pulling, and stick horse barrel racing! Cutest!

It was super low-key and we had a fun day swimming at Surf n' swim with Grandma Carrie and the Brock grandkids! We had a little BBQ that night and Clara attempted to ride her bike without training wheels-- and then got so mad she couldn't do it on her first try she took her helmet off and threw it.... AH! She is hilarious, but holy spit fire! I've never quite appreciated Lucy's non-competitive nature, and ability to just be happy and having fun wherever she is at, until this year when Clara became miss competitive and gets so frustrated if she can't do things perfectly!
Friday we headed down to Utah County to go swimming with my Aunt Andrea and cousin Angie and all of the cute cousins! Lucy and Clara are seriously awesome swimmers now, and it was so nice to just let them enjoy themselves without following them around the whole time! Lucy had so much fun with Nash, and Clara loved trying to keep up! I still can't believe her and Winnie are the same age- she's so tiny and cute!
We met Cheryl at the Scholastic book sale, which ended up being a huge waste... but then we got JCW's and that made up for everything. Best burgers ever.

Saturday morning we woke up and headed out to the farm! Aunt Amy is seriously the best ever and took the girls riding in the heat! We had fun playing with Blakey and Callie all afternoon!
Saturday night my dad drug us to see Shaun the Sheep...and even though it was literally the worst movie I had ever seen in my life... Haha! The girls had a blast! And Here I am at 25 weeks! Grandpa Kerry is the cutest ever!
Sunday we went to church with my fam, and cutie Clara's peach was finally ready! She had been watching that peach grow since June and was so excited to pick it! That little tree only gave about 6 peaches, but boy were they delicious!
We also hung out with Grandma Bonnie and Papa Jeff that night. Jeff just had his knee replaced, so the girls thought it was pretty cool to fill up his ice machine and check out his giant bruises!
I finally made it to a yoga class Monday morning! It felt so good, and I was SOOOO sore for that next whole week. And it's a little harder to balance with a giant 25 week belly! I'm so looking forward to getting my strength back after baby is born!
I went to lunch with Bonnie, Jessi, and Amy on Monday too! So nice just to chat and relax without all of our cute kiddos! Love these women.
then Grandma Carrie took us all to get pedicures! The girls thought it was the coolest thing ever to get their toe nails painted!
Tuesday Grandma Bonnie took us all to Cherry Hill and we had such a fun day in the sun with cousins! We sure miss living close to these guys!
It was a quick trip, but I'm still so glad we went! We made it home late Wednesday night just in time to have the weekend to get ready for 1st grade starting and moving! Ahhhh!
