August 2015
The first week of August Jenny, Jaymie, and I were all finally home at the same time! We finally made it to Roosevelt Pool, fun movie days on rainy days, etc.... So many little girls, girls, girls!
But I especially love those two secret tellers! Love little Lulu and Ruby Sue!
I swear people are dropping like flies around here! So sad to see Cassie leave! It was a little last minute and we actually ended up moving into their cute little house they were renting at the end of August! More on that later, but they will be missed!
Finally made it to story time with our favorite Miss Danielle!
We finally made it camping! Tyler's parents brought the boat up, and we planned on taking it out the next morning, so I drug the family out to camp the night before! Clara was pretty excited to see her life jacket back in action, and Lulu couldn't wait to roast everything!
Love snuggling these little cuties!
We might not be the most outdoorsy of families, but I grew up camping and have to make sure it happens at least once a year! Some of my favorite memories growing up were camping, so I hope these little girlies have the same.
We met up the next morning with the Noel and Onkes families! These cuties had a blast!
We had fun tubing and wake boarding all afternoon! Felt so good to be on the lake again!
This guy loves snuggling with his girls!
The first week of August these girls got to go to Art Camp together! It was Monday-Thursday for 3 hours! They even let Clara go- they were supposed to be 5, but they all loved it! And I was able to get some packing done as well as lay out by the pool one day! Soooooooo nice.
Clearly the sun was a little too bright up at the family fun night-- and a movie night at Jenny's-- with all of those girls again!
And their finished products!
With a tutti frutti celebration afterwards!
And the story of Clara's life. I love her so!
We did make it to lunch one day while the hooligans were busy! Love these friends of mine!
Clara's way too smart for her own good! I love her drawing and writing all the time! She's the sweetest ever, and such a spit fire all at the same time!
Zoo day with our crew!
And we even made it down to the temple, and boating all in the same day! Dropped the boat off at Fort Stevenson state park, down to Bismarck for a session, grabbed lunch, and back to boat with the Wistisen family!
The sunflowers are incredible in August!
Love all of their cute boys! They have one Lucy and Clara's age, then a couple older.
Clara also had been asking us how to spell, "I don't love you..." We didn't tell her, but apparently she figured out her own way to get the message across. Don't let that sweet smile fool you! Hahaha!
I also had to get another ultrasound done at 24 weeks. They didn't get some of the right measurements thanks to the little guy being SUCH a mover, so I got to go back in! I've never had an ultrasound this fall along before, so it was fun to see truly how developed they already are! And I was just a little past half way at this point! Ultrasound photos are still a little creepy, but these were better! I'm biased of course, but I can't help but think that he's pretty dang cute! (And still a boy! Phewf!)
Lots of fun pool days both at the outside pool, and inside! These girls LOVE to swim!
Tyler and I finally made it out for a date night! Dinner, dessert, and Target! I love him.
We made it to back to school night and Lucy was SO excited to meet her teacher!
School started- post to come, and Clara loved helping me get some things moved over to our house and checking out our apple tree! We have huge trees at this house, but our favorite is the apple tree! She also attacked all of the peaches I brought back with us from Utah! The girl can eat!
And she's been asking for weeks, "Mom, when Lucy's in 1st grade can just you and me go get ice cream!?" Anything for that smile!
We moved on Thursday, and Friday I was at the elementary school washing tables! Jaymie and I volunteer once a month, and it was our day the first week of school! AH! Anything to see that cute face at lunch though! Love her!
Tera & Dave had us all over for a little back to school BBQ that next night! We had such good food, watched Nacho Libre on the big screen out back, and just had so much fun with our friends. I love being up here with these gorgeous ladies!
Clara didn't make it through the movie! And here she is on her next attempt at riding the bike with no training wheels. (Don't worry she did get it eventually! Haha!) She kills me.
We spent the weekend unpacking and Monday was my birthday! We picked up lunch at Panera and ate over at Jaymie's house that afternoon. Tyler took me out that night and after a yummy dinner at Longhorns and exchanging the size of my luxury slippers.... pregnancy desires... haha....he took me over to Jaymie's where all of our cute friends were there! Jaymie made me a fabulous cake and invited everyone over. Love her.
27 weeks on my 27th birthday! Late twenties. Ah! Getting old!
Between school starting, soccer starting, moving, birthday, etc.... It was an exhausting week! But we made it out alive. And I'm never moving again! You were a good one August! See you next year!
