September 2015
We had a great September! We finished moving into our house, got into the swing of things with school, started ballet again, and enjoyed some beautiful weather!
We made it to Roosevelt pool a couple more times after school before it closed!
made it to our old apartment pool a couple more times before it got cold!
Celebrated cute Ruby Sue's birthday!
Broke in the backyard!
and the coolest thing ever--- Saw the Northern Lights! We've heard on and off about them being up here, but one night someone posted on facebook that they saw them, so I walked out our front door and BAM! They were so bright and literally dancing across the sky! My mom was here, so she stayed with the sleeping girls while Tyler and I drove out of the city lights to get a better view! We then switched and I took her out to see them. The pictures here are pretty horrible- just from my phone, but it was so so amazing! Bucket list worthy!
We loved having Grandma here! We finished unpacking, started ballet back up that week, had a few lunch dates, soccer games, and finished picking all of the apples off of our tree!
Our apple tree is like the cutest part of this house! Haha. Unfortunately we lost a bunch just due to us being so busy unpacking that we didn't pick them in time, but we still had a ton! Jaymie and I made applesauce as well as jam for a few afternoons! I am feeling pretty domestic!
Nothing like some sloppy joe's! Haha!
And a yummy dinner at Starving Rooster after the soccer games!
Thanks for coming mom! We love having visitors!!
I also survived the glucose/gestational diabetes test. Luckily the sugar drink doesn't bother me too much, but the blood draw...... Ahhhhhh! I actually am getting so much better. I went all by myself, and managed not to sob this time. I just get so much anxiety! It's so ridiculous. But at least I'm improving! Eeek!
We made it down to Lake Sakakawea one final time! We went with the Noel's and Jacob's and had so much fun!
The water was SO nice I decided to wakeboard! It was actually WAY easier on my body than I expected! Walking a few miles hurts so much more than just wake boarding! Here's my stellar 29 week bump shot! With the life jacket half way un-buckeled...
SO many kids on the tubes! It was finally so peaceful on the boat.... Haha! Even little Eleanor was out there and was laughing so hard! It was hilarious!
I feel like we had lots of people over for dinner- That really wasn't the case, but between the Elders and Sisters in our ward, and some cute friends of ours that moved I felt like I was cooking way more than normal! One night we had people over and Clara picked her bike up in the backyard and proceeded to show Tyler and his friend how she learned to ride her bike! And so now she does. She's a stubborn one this girl!
Because of that we've ridden over to the school a bunch and let the girls ride around the track! They love it!
This room is technically the dining room... but now it's our art room/office/mud-room/tyler's closet. And without this room I would die! Our house is pretty tiny, but having this room right off the kitchen is a life saver! It's pretty much the most used room in our house!
Apple day at Pre-school and a requested picture in front of the pretty walls outside Children's Music Academy downtown!
A fun zoo day with our friends Emma and Ethan! (and Paul and baby Madison!) We love, love these guys and can't believe they are moving!! People are dropping like flies up here! So sad.
September really was so nice. I'm getting smarter and no scheduling us so much! We stuck to ballet just once a week because of soccer, didn't even sign up for a gymnastics class, even though yes, I am still coaching, then Lucy just still has her music class once a week! We have been able to just be home almost every day after school and it's been awesome! Lucy is loving first grade, and although there's a LOT more homework/work in general, she is doing awesome and really loves it. Clara is also doing Lucy's first grade homework with her, so Kindergarten next year should be interesting for her! I have a feeling she will be so bored! She has loved pre-school, and I'm glad all of the crafting/playing is holding her attention!
Autumn is truly the most beautiful time of year! I have been soaking up my quiet afternoons at home. Literally. I know they are coming to a close so so soon, so I've really been savoring my alone time! Afternoon naps, quiet lunches at home, walks on the trail, solo runs to Target/Old Navy, etc... I miss my girls, but I've truly been able to enjoy it because I know a little man is going to crash my party here very soon! Haha!
Here's my 31 week bump shot.... and apparently my belly ate my bum! Ahhh! We're on the countdown though!
