Fall Soccer 2015

Coach Tyler, Ruby, Eden, Lucy, Mya, Alyssa, Ashley, Olivia, and Bayleigh

We had such a good soccer season! Lucy didn't have the greatest coach last season, so I convinced Tyler to be her coach this year! He was a little nervous to take on these girls, but he was the cutest/best coach ever! Lucy absolutely loved having him, and Clara has convinced him he needs to coach her team next year. His sister Amy gave him the best advice- cartwheels and handstands at time outs. So basically he won over the girls immediately! Haha! We had a good little team too! Since Tyler was the coach we maybe snuck little Ruby onto our team too. Her mom accidentally missed the sign up, so we stuck her on our team and luckily she had a shirt to match! Haha! It was also so much more enjoyable sitting at every game with one of my best friends rather than all alone! Lucy did awesome and even had an awesome goal! She is the cutest and would just get so excited every time she had a good block, or a break away with the ball from the rest of the pack! She's hilarious!
 Clara had her first soccer season this year! She was SO excited! She did awesome! She started out the season definitely more aggressive than she was at the end, but did great. She is still the smallest kid out there, and would get pretty frustrated if she couldn't do things perfect or always get the ball... But man was she following every direction from her coach! She's like the perfect student. And literally ripped the ball out of other girls' hands if it went outside the line. She was there in a second getting the ball and running it over to her coach. She's the cutest and sort of exhausting. Haha! I love her so!
 She also got mad at me everytime I cheered for her...."Mom, just don't say Go Clara! I just hate it when you say that, ok?" Sometimes I'm not sure where she came from, and she clearly doesn't understand that I am literally a cheerleader at heart, and am unable to stop by self from cheering. It runs in the family ok!? GOOOOO CLARA!!! We love you!!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! Lucy's biggest fan! Lucy has bee doing SO great at soccer! Soccer camp from this summer really helped the girls a ton! She was so aggressive and even scored a few goals! Goooo Lucy! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
