current loves..

thank you neagle for my tie-dye onesie. I love it. Love, Lucy.

So my Lucy is just darling. Last night my girls had a football game in Lehi... yes. Lehi High. How awful is that? Let alone- their dance team is called the 'Pionettes'- and I thought being a dart was a bad mascot?
Anyway.
Tyler had school, Cheryl had Parent Teacher conferences so I had to bring Lucy with me- (sidenote: they just changed the rules that now a coach cannot take their kids on the district buses, so the school officer also had to ride the bus with my cheerleaders.) So i meet the girls at the school, get them on the bus, follow them to Lehi, and then tyler calls me as im getting off the exit for lehi that he is now done with his test and can have lucy, too bad he drives an 88' honda accord that doesn't really work i the car... so i get there, wake Lucy up to put her in the stroller, and it's FREEZING. ah, so I walk over to the visitors side and decide its too cold for Lucy, so I then drive her home to Tyler, then turn around and come back to Lehi to watch the rest of the game in the cold! Finish the game- we won. Go Tigers! and hurry over to meet Tyler at Pirate island for the APX dinner.
Lucy was so excited to see me!
It's so cute that she now really does miss me when I am gone, and notices who is holding her and such. She is such a good baby and makes me laugh every day.

I have to write a few favorite things as of lately....
TV Shows:
SYTYCD (obviously.)
Modern Family (perhaps the most hilarious show I have EVER seen- yes. I think better than 'The Office'- you have to watch it- abc.com)
Glee.
Flash Forward (this show is very intense, probably too much for my liking, but now that I have started I have to watch the whole thing. Dangit.)

Other Randoms.....
Saw this chick in Costco last week, then this week on Oprah! She is amazing and truly truly inspirational.

TARGET for obvious reasons- but I recently got two of the cutest sweaters for $15 each. Have I mentioned I love shopping?

This Park by my house! I think we go at least every other day. It is amazing.


Strawberry, Banana, Peach Smoothies. Remember all those peaches I canned? I am putting the to good use. They make our smoothies OH SO good.

cafe rio, apple spice junction, any really anywhere with good bread. I'm never giving up carbs.

our MAC (would anyone like to give me lessons on how to make your pictures super BIG on your blog?)

currently wishing I knew how to re-upholster chairs (i don't have anywhere to put any, but i sure have seen some cute ones!) and use my moms sewing maching, and well just be more creative. I see all these like ultra-creative peoples blogs, and im secretly so jealous. I could be good at that if I learned. anyone want to teach?

    Hey. So I went to school with Tyler and I came across your blog from a friends. Lucy is seriously darling! Anyway...I wanted to say hello so I don't feel as bad if I look at your blog. Second, the way I make my pictures bigger is through photobucket. I upload my pictures to photobucket and then use them from there. {I take the html code and copy it into the html code of the blog post. I think you can take the direct link and upload it as a direct link instead of as a file from your computer as well.} If that doesn't make sense I can totally try to explain it better...and I dont know if there's an easier way that seem to work for me.
    Also, my blog is private but if you want to see just sent me an email I think I have a couple invites left!

    I just make mine bigger through modifying the html code. It takes about 3 seconds. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send you an email

    and it's super easy to change the background of your blog if you find some sort of digital paper that you like. I can show you how to do that too.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
