Welcome to the Jungle!

This past week was a busy one! I swear I either have nothing going on and I wonder to myself whatever am I going to do with myself all winter-- or I am super busy! I was in charge of a relief society breakfast Saturday, then my 'cheerios' were in charge of Sadies that night so we decorated for 4 hours, and then had the kickin' dance. The girls and their parents always do such an awesome job decorating! Their theme was 'Welcome to the Jungle'. Look how cute!
They always take the 'Peer Tutor' class every year as well. Only a few of them came this year, but they always think it is SO cool to go to one of the dances!

Lucy was not quite sure how she felt about the balloons. Loved them. And terrified. All at once.


Lucy is now officially 8 months old! Ah! I can't believe my baby is so big! She is rolling all over the place, and has quite the little army crawl down now! She is trying SO hard to crawl, it's so cute. She stills sleeps so good- from about 9-9. I got so lucky, and I am loving it! She is kind of like my dog- we have crawling lessons with my keys. Oh boy does she ever love keys. Have I mentioned she loves dogs and kids too? Whenever she sees a dog, or a little kid, she gets all excited and eventually tries to pet them! It's so funny. I just love her. She also has started eating little snacks all by her self. Yay Lucy!

    oh my she is so cute i just can't get over it!!!! what a doll! and can i ask how do you get her to sleep 9-9 my boy will do 11-7 and that's if i'm lucky, he used to be so good but then he decided to wake up all the time!~ if you have tricks send them my way!!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
