Lucy's Color Birthday Party!
I seriously cannot believe my little lucy is 2!
time is going by so so fast...
we had a 'COLOR' party at my mom's on her birthday, and everything turned out so so cute!
so sorry for literally a million pictures...
we covered the tables in butcher paper, and coleen had this darling colored masking tape she used to 'liven them up'. we had candy in all different colors, then crayons on all the tables so everyone could color or write miss lucy a little note on the tables!
i made a couple little paper banners that we just hung up using some bakers twine, i think i might put this banner up in her room if everything comes together!
the kids even got their own table they could color on too.
my mom got a bunch of cute balloons- Lucy was in heaven!
and i just got a bunch of construction paper and made a bunch of the paper chain links in rainbow colors to hang all over the house!
I wish I would have gotten a better picture of the actual food- but we ran out of time!
we had different color veggies cut into tall thin strips in clear cups
fruit in all different colors just spread out
then chips, pasta salad, fruit, and some fun kid snacks like pirates booty, and multi-colored gold fish just in all different color bowls
we just did water with some fruit in it to give it some color
and then all of the plates, napkins, cups, utensils, and straws all in different colors
it really was so easy to make all the decorations and such, and came together so cute!
thanks so much to my cute mom and other mom, Coleen for helping me out!
Lucy had so much fun coloring all night! She is just learning all of her colors- purple, orange and blue are probably her favorites and loves coloring with crayons, so she loved all the bright colors and crayons everywhere!
Lucy coloring at her table with grandma bonnie
cute jessi and tyler!
me and amy- we're due 4 wks apart! so excited to have another set of little girls close!
a big thanks to all of our cute friends who came to see us and little lucy!
tyler thinks i went over the top- but honestly, i didn't want to have a party just for everyone to spoil lucy, i really just wanted to plan a party and have an excuse to see all of our cute friends and family!
jentrie, madison, lindsey, katie, and me
lucy loving the balloons with jake, mike and rand
quin and porter both came without their wives- lucy seriously loves them both so i'm glad they came!
tyler is his dad's twin right? haha.
lucy and her cute cousin blake- they are 5 months apart, and lucy seriously idolizes blakey!
Lucy was in HEAVEN when everyone was singing to her... she seriously LOVES to be the center of attention! It is so funny. I will have to get the video from my mom, because she was so giddy the whole time. Haha... Love my little jane!
and the coolest part of her color party- pretty much the reason she had a birthday party was because i saw this cake online, and really wanted to make it! so it turned into Lucy's color birthday party!
It turned out SO so cute! Coleen came over with way awesome food coloring, and i think without the good food coloring it would have looked pretty lame, so I'm so glad we used them! She also frosted the cake to perfection, and is pretty much awesome. The cake was so good too!
It was just two white cake mixes- I found the DIY Tutorial here: HERE
my mama and coco!
Lucy loved showing off her gifts to everyone... she is so funny.
cute blake helped lucy open all her presents!
Lucy got an awesome leap frog and some darling gymboree outfits from grandma and grandpa brock!
we got her a little train from ikea.. and some cute outfits from baby gap and target. of course. haha.
lucy wanted to go lay by her little cousin carter and they were being so funny....
overall her party was so fun, and it was so fun to just see everyone and see lucy love being the center of attention. she is such a funny little girl, and we love her to death!
she opened her gifts from grandma and papa crosland the next day...
she got this awesome puzzle, a darling outfit, and the coolest bike ever!
we're so excited to head down to st george this week to test it out!
