March survival- and Grandma comes!

First of March was really cold. That's a feels like -53. Yee-haw! 
Needless to say there was a lot of time doing this...

 Mcdonalds playing, and story time going
and snuggles.

 We played at the gym....
and did more yoga.
I had a fun night out with my cute friends for Angie's birthday!
 Jenny, Celeste and I... sure love these two!
 and then miraculously we made it into the 30's! We had a rather lovely and an "I'm alive!!!" again run. Thanks sun!
 This girl has been keeping me SUPER entertained.
 trains were built... and dad saved the day with clara's pirate sword and took the trash out. good man, good man.
 but best of all Grandma Carrie came! I sure love this sweet mom of mine!
 We celebrated my mom's birthday with the best Lemon cake! The girls were SO excited to see her! 2 months is WAYYYY too long!
 Of course the first night my mom was here Clara was up all night with the worst croupy cough- we got her in early the next morning and got a steroid for her- she was still sick most the time my mom was here, but was doing much much better!
 We had such a fun time with my mom! She came with us to Ballet, Gymnastics, Church, and we had a few lunch dates and playing at home. It was so nice to see her! Not seeing our families is definitely the hardest part about living here. We all had a blast!
 childhood is exhausting.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! Lucy's biggest fan! Lucy has bee doing SO great at soccer! Soccer camp from this summer really helped the girls a ton! She was so aggressive and even scored a few goals! Goooo Lucy! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
