Clara's 'Pluto' 3rd Birthday Party!

Clara's special party finally came! She has been talking about her birthday party ever since Lucy's party back in February. She had told me she wanted a Minnie party forever, but after I got home from Disneyland she switched to a 'Pluto' party... Haha.. Uhhh... Luckily all the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse decorations have plenty of Pluto characters mixed in, and she still loves Minnie and the whole gang, so it worked out great!

We were planning on having the party at the park and the weather forecast looked awesome, then randomly it was so foggy and cold from the overcast clouds! I had everything in my car ready to head to the park and wait it out, when Jaymie saved the day and offered me her house. My house was a disaster, so it worked out perfect. Love you Jaym!

I kept asking her who she wanted to invite and all I ever got was Georgia. and then she remembered Remi! So Clara got her party with her two friends Georgia and Remi, and a few more of her friends she sees all the time of Lucy's. We had Clara, Georgia, Remi, Lucy, Ruby, Julia, and Anson. The only boy! Jaymie helped (re: decorated the whole thing) me with the cake again. Bless her. I really really really suck at frosting and decorating cakes. I'll stick to the cookies!
 We kept things pretty simple with cake, cookies, a few candy dishes, and some snacks for the kids! 
Tyler was able to be there for most of the party during his lunch. Yay!

 Clara was so sweet when everyone was singing to her. She gets this little bashful-sweetness sometimes when everyone is looking at her, and she just eats it up! It's so funny. I sure love this sweet girl!
 We played a fun game of pin the bow on Minnie! 
 She got so many fun gifts! and Minnie Mouse galore! What a lucky little lady!
 So much fun! Hugs and kisses goodbye from Remi and Georgia!

    What a cute party for your cute girl! I love the idea of planning cute parties based on what that kid loves at the time. Her cake is darling!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
