weekly update

cute Lucy after church last week- she LOVES Lucky Charms, and all cereal really!

sunday: so church is kind of like the social high-lite of the week... haha. They have read in like 20 new families the past 2 weeks. It's awesome. All of the friends I have made so far have all moved in within the last 6 months... We really like our ward so far! I bet it might be a while before we have callings though because there are SO many new members, but we'll see! We will be happy to be involved wherever we are called.

Lucy I think misses her cousins Carter and Blakey more than anyone else! Haha. My mom is coming on Thursday to visit! Yay! And bonnie comes in a few more weeks, we wish they could bring Carter and Blake with them! Haha.

We had a lazy Sunday, and made crepes for Dinner. We have 1 o'clock church, so by the time we got home after chatting after church for a bit,  it was like 5 and we were starving. I think we've had crepes like 6 times since we moved here... Yum.

Monday- Lucy still has her sports class, and I went to my cycle class while the girls played in the daycare. Monday is grocery day, so we usually stop by wally's on the way home from the gym.

Tuesday- Yoga in the morning, and walking after, then that afternoon Lucy got to try out her gymnastics class she will be starting this week! She'll be taking it with her little friend Ashlyn from church.

Wednesday- Lucy's sports class was swimming this week, so Clara went in the daycare while I went swimming with Lucy! She seriously loves swimming and had a blast having mom there!

Here's my two cutie's napping... I love it when they sleep at the same time! They are so sweet!

Thursday we had a Lunch-bunch for Relief Society at my friend Amy's apt. We had some yummy soups and salads and all the kids had a blast in her toy room. We literally stayed there all afternoon and had such a good time just chatting with some of our friends!

Tyler was down in Dickinson all day Thursday, so we went to the gym that evening. The girls played while I went to pilates, then a muscle/pump class. The pilates class was kind of lame... Bummer, I love pilates so I wish they would get a good class! Maybe it was just the one I went to... Muscle Pump is awesome though, and I am still sore! 

Here is Lucy having a major melt down about wanting candy... while going to the bathroom... and cute Clara just watching her with delight. Love it..

Lucy and I played candy land while dad was gone... her absolute favorite game! And I made sugar cookies that night for Lucy's party the next day!
friday we headed to the gym early for my favorite cycle class, and hurried home to get ready for Lucy's birthday party! I'm a loser and still had to make the cake, put laundry away, shower, etc... all like an hour before the party started! Haha... 

After the party I was so so tired, but managed to get everything cleaned up, then started to make dinner for the missionaries! I made them spaghetti and meatballs which was delicious, but was done like a half hour late, and then made breadsticks too, but they didn't quite mix right... haha... anyway. They actually turned out ok, but were done after we were done eating. I'm awesome... Oh well, they seemed grateful for the food anyway! 

These two girls are so funny lately-- Clara just loves attacking people! And Lucy thinks its SO funny, they will just get laughing so hard. I'm so glad they have each other as little friends! Clara is doing everything she can to keep up with little Lucy, and I love watching them play!


Life is good. We're so excited for Grandma Carrie to come this week! 
It snowed like 8 inches last night and is blowing like crazy! Who knows if our car will make it to church! We'll see... Gotta love North Dakota!

    It is so fun to hear the happenings from North Dakota! And all that EXERCISE! WOW! impressive :)

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
