Lucy's Birthday Party!

this little girl is turning 3 on February 25th!
we had a little early birthday party at my parent's house this thursday to celebrate before we move TOMORROW!! (yes, tomorrow...)
anyway- I totally did not have any time to put together what I wanted to, but I just went with a little valentines day theme and got a bunch of yummy candy, and my mom made her fabulous sugar cookies, and it was awesome. Thanks mom for all of your hard work! Coleen of course put the finishing touches on to make everything look great... Love you guys!

Lucy was in heaven seeing all of her friends/cousins in one place, and have I mentioned she LOVES to be the center of attention? Because she does. Bless that cute girl!

my cute friends Michelle and Brooklyn, and our gorgeous daughters- Lucy, Macie and Isabel! We are sure going to miss them!!

 All the fabulous treats and candy-- sugar cookies, brownies cut into hearts, juju hearts, cinnamon lips, chocolate covered cinnamon bears, hugs, conversation hearts, pixie sticks, cupcakes, blow pops, fun-dips, raspberry licorice, and co-co brought the yummy strawberry candies!

the cute table and goodie bags- they each got a notebook, pencil, bouncy ball, pixie stick, and the girls got heart rings, necklaces, and nail polish, and the boys got some socks-- awesome right? the girls were way more fun! =)

i'm a loser and filmed us singing to lucy--- so this is the only shot I got of her and her cake! and it's mainly my mom's head... awesome. Oh well, honestly she didn't even have one piece! She was too busy playing!

Lucy got some fabulous gifts including, a homemade robe from aunt amy, a little rapunzel doll from macie, a little cinderella doll from izzy, (she has been carrying those around with her EVERYWHERE since then!!),  a rapunzel dress up from grandma carrie, a cute princess book from angie & ronnie, the cutest crayon holder and coloring book from quin & heidi! and we got her some new books for the road trip! She was one happy little girl!

She was SO excited about her new dress! She had to put it on right away and dance for us in it!


So cute-- love these babies! Callie is 8 months, and Clara & Knox are both 9 months! Such cute chubby babies!

We had so much fun and are so so thankful for our wonderful family and friends! We really just had this party as an excuse to see all of our dear friends one more time! 

We packed up our apartment this morning and are heading out tomorrow afternoon! Ah!

Still need to blog-- packing up, and the cheer competition kaysville had tonight! I'm really cramming things in until the last second before we leave!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
