Papa's Pumpkin Patch

We had an awesome weekend. Saturday morning we headed down to Bismarck to go to the Temple. We had an amazing session, and then had a yummy lunch at 5-Guys. We then headed to the most amazing pumpkin patch ever! It turns out this was the last day it was open, because the weather has been so cold the last week, and the pumpkin patch that was HUGE was actually completely sold out of pumpkins! That didn't stop us though, it was only $3 to get in and had SO much to do!
 They had a fun corn maze, an obstacle course, hay slides, a nature walk with fun things to do along the way, a corn crib, 3 different type of train rides, and...
 our favorite was the Zip lines! It was only $1 to go 2 times, and Lucy loved it! 
 I love these next photos of Lucy and Tyler. She was so excited to watch the video of her on the zip line. This girl loves her dad SO much, and Tyler is the cutest dad ever.
 They had this awesome playground, and even a baby zip-line for Clara!

 Even though they were out of pumpkins, we got a couple of yummy butternut squashes! good thing we already have pumpkins!
we already can't wait to go next year!

    Carly I really look up to you for the countless adventures you take your girls on...I am so impressed that you are able to go go go the way you do!

    I'm blown away you found me so fast. I wished we lived closer so we could start fostering a relationship between my boys and your girls. They're pretty dang cute.

    Sorry to here about Tyler being a closet Obama supporter. I tried to talk some sense into him a few days ago.

    I don't think you're serious about visiting us because Tyler is such a cheap-skate. But if you guys were thinking of taking a trip to Kentucky we'd love to have you.

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
