Utah Fall Fun

We made it to Utah! Yay! We got to Kaysville Sunday night, and Lucy and Clara were so excited to see Grandma Carrie! Monday morning we had a lazy day. I went for a run, then we had yummy Cafe Rio for lunch and headed down to City Creek for a little quick shopping!
Tuesday we headed down to Gardner Village with my mom, Melissa, and Carter! We had a yummy lunch at Archibalds, and had so much fun walking through all the fun shops!
 Clara finally got to wear my favorite outfit of Lucy's-- it makes me laugh so hard every time I look at her in it! Such a cute chubby baby!

 That night I headed to a yummy dinner at the Cheesecake Factory for Michelle's birthday! It was seriously the best food ever... I miss good food!!
Wednesday we were lazy all day, and somehow ended up at Target forever... and who knows what else!
Thursday I was able to meet up with my cute friends- Michelle, Megan, Haley, and Paige who was also visiting from New York! We had a yummy lunch at Zupas, and let the kids run wild at Station Park.

Later we were able to all go get haircuts! Well Lucy and I anyway... Clara had fun eating her succer and spinning on the chair!
We had such a fun laid back week, which was exactly what I needed. For those of you that know I am a total Go-go-go person, but I had the marathon on Saturday, so I tried super hard to still go to bed early, and eat relatively normal! Haha...

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) Baby Rex kept getting bigger and bigger! Dad would put Rex in his only football outfit every Saturday to watch the Utes play! Haha. Teaching him young! Rex turned 10 months old in September! hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
