Lake Powell continued...

and so it continues!

By the way... If you didn't know.... Lucy, Clara, and I had been in Utah for the last 5 weeks! Yes, Over a month!! The trip was initially 3 weeks, but got extended... so I am quite behind on blogging to say the least. Don't worry, Tyler was able to fly out for Lake Powell, then again for the 4th of July, so we didn't abandon him too long! But we are now all home, and it feels SO good! So I've got to get all over 1,000 pictures on here somehow...
Bonnie asked all the girls to come up with some games for our Olympic theme, and Amy did everything. Literally. She is awesome. We started out games with a sweet obstacle course, then did some fun minute to win it games, and bowling, and ring toss games that the kids could play too.
For our closing ceremonies, Amy & Luke brought some paper lanterns-- they were awesome, and the kids thought they were so cool!
Luke is for sure the coolest Uncle and takes all the kids on rides on the Air Chair, and surf board, among a million other fun things all the time!

Lucy's latest thing is her Thumbs Up! She seriously does it for everything. It's so cute!
Grandma Bonnie always has such fun things for the kids to do, this year she did a E.F.G. (Especially for Grandkids) little activity every day! They got a few different books, and did a bunch of fun activities and projects together. She is super-Grandma! It means so much to have such fun, and involved Grandparents because I never really had Grandparents at all growing up. Lucy and Clara are so lucky!
Papa Jeff got a new toy-- this super awesome remote control boat! This boat would fly-- seriously, I think it goes like over 50mph, the kids Loved watching this boat!

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
