the week after... {random happenings in utah}

I have quite a few pictures on this blog post. Shocking right? I'll try to keep the words to a minimum....
We got home from Lake Powell, and...
My dad and I went for a run up the Baer-guts
 We met Papa's new Pony, 'Rio'. She is the cutest little Pony, and Lucy LOVED brushing her hair, and going for a ride! We Love the farm!
 We went to Red Robin, played at the park, and had a fire with our friends Quin & Heidi, and of course cute little Max!
 Had a lazy Fathers Day at church with my family, then dinner with Tyler's. We sure love our Dad's around here!
 Monday night we had a big BBQ at my Parents house with both of our families before Tyler left the next day. We are so lucky our families live so close to each other!
Luke once again being the coolest Uncle ever!
Lots of fun times, and 'Herbert' stories with Grandpa!
 We went to Farmington Pool with my good friends Megan, and Heather. We also got Cafe Rio that night too! I think I only went like 4 times while in Utah... haha... I miss it already.
 Lily, Knox, and Clara
 Spent a fabulous day at the Lindon Aquatic Center with my Aunt Andrea, and cute cousins Angie, Nash, Winnie, Jade, and Ava. I took Lucy to that pool all the time when she was Clara's age and we lived in Orem, it is seriously the best Pool EVER! I would kill for a pool like that in Minot!
We take flotation very seriously around here... Haha. Lucy LOVES her lifejacket, and now LOVES that little Birdy tube. She always wants both of them on, which is fine with me! She is such a little fish, and loves swimming on her own!
 cute Clara and Winnie- Winter is 3 months older, and is teeny-tiny! Well, Clara is just a chunk!
 we did a LOT of this while daddy was gone...
 Spent the day at Michelle's again-- we put our baby's to sleep, let Lucy and Izzy run wild, and had Kneaders for lunch--- awesome! Plus Michelle and I looked through some pretty fabulous high school pictures... we were pretty awesome back then! We sure miss those guys!
 Clara had popsicles for the first time, and Lucy played lots of dress-ups at Grandma Bonnie's house!
 She is obsessed with super man, and spider man right now, she runs around yelling, "Super- man... To the Rescue!!!" at the top of her lungs. She's pretty hilarious!
 I went on a few long runs, and I think my mom was shocked that I passed up going to City Creek and decided that I just wanted to sit down after walking around Marshalls for like 20 minutes... Haha. She knows that I am quite the shopper! We had the most fabulous dinner and Gelato at Settebello at Farmington Crossing.
 Jessi finally got home from Europe and we spent another lazy Sunday playing at the Crosland's house! Lucy loves playing over there, and jumps on the tramp 97% of the time!
 the girls also got to swim with my mom's cute neighbors! Have I mentioned they both love to swim!?
 and of course my cute little sister Candace and her boyfriend Sam... Candace took pictures of herself on my phone everytime she saw it, I had like 400+ pics of her on my phone... Now she has her very own facebook album of herself! Haha. 
Only 2 weeks left to post! Haha... We had SO much fun though!

    You seriously had a party here in Utah...you have got to be exhausted! Have you and/or your dad ever ran in the baer gutsman race? It seems like the hardest run E.V.E.R. I hiked it for the first time last fall, and that last quarter mile up to the radar towers about killed me! Needless to say, I am quite impressed that you could run up that!

      My dad has run the race- he's a crazy man! But we just ran up about a half hour, then back down, not even close to the top! I am definitely not that hard core! =)

I still can't believe my little Clara-bear-a is old enough to be in Kindergarten! She has absolutely loved it. These two are pretty adorable walking to school every morning together! Another great soccer season! Tyler was roped into coaching Clara's team again and wins at the best dad and coach ever! He even took Rex with him to a bunch of games and coached while Rexy was strapped to him in the baby carrier! Dad of the year! (I was at piano lessons with Lucy!) hello!

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? That's a good thing right!? our family is still living the dream up here in North Dakota. We thought we were maybe coming up here for a year, and five and a half years later..... here we are! our kids have truly grown up here. Lucy is eight. Yes, eight! She has gotten to tall and gangly. She is wild and free, full of light, and joyful. Clara is six. She is full of FIRE, spice, and quite a bit of sass. She is fiercely loyal, tender, and a snuggler. Lucy is finally here!!

Lucy Jane Crosland February 25, 2009 1:23am 6 lbs 12 oz 18 inches long We would like to welcome our sweet little girl Lucy to the world! It was an eventful entrance she made and we're glad she is finally here and perfect! My water finally broke Tuesday afternoon so we went into the hospital about four and they decided to start me on pitocin since other than my water breaking not too much was going on-- after being on pitocin for about a 1/2 hr I was ready for my epidural! ((again- Im not quite sure how people do this naturally- I only had 30 minutes of real contractions and was ready for all the needles in the world!) The epidural was wonderful- I highly recommend it!! Well-- at midnight I had pretty much stalled out at being dialated at a 4.5--so the doctor came in and said that basically if I hadn't dialated in the next little while much it was most likely that they were going to do a C-section-- so for the next hour me, Ty and my mom just prayed that I was dialating, and I ...
