play.

As most of you know, I like to play. All the time! I had LOTS of play time in Utah. It was so awesome, I got to do so many fun things, really all thanks to my mom. She took care of us, and if any of you know my mom she is amazing! She literally did all my laundry before I would even think about doing it, got my girls in the tub almost every night, etc... I was spoiled rotten while visiting, and now I'm back to reality! I'm still trying to figure out how to cook again... My mom is the best, and I love her! Miss her already!!

So our fourth week in Utah-- Yes 4th! Crazy.... Anyway. I was able to go see my dentist, get my teeth cleaned, and a cavity filled, and go to the eye doctor and get to glasses! It felt good to check those off my lists! We said goodbye to Ben & Carrie as they headed off for Oregon, I'm already trying to plan a trip to go see them! I'm dying to go there! And I was able to get together with all of my good girlfriends from high school one night too. Michelle and I met early at City Creek and got to shop for an hour or so without our children! It was amazing!! (My mom babysat of course!) We then met all the other girls to eat the Blue Lemon. It was delicious!
Clara is officially in a big-girl car seat! She hated being turned around in the big car seat, so I'm officially a rebel mom and have her facing forward.
Wednesday I headed up to Park City with my mom and the girls, and we did some serious shopping. Seriously- I got the best deals on clothes for Lucy and Clara! Lucy got tons of clothes for school this fall, I got some new running clothes, and some stuff for Tyler- finally! It was awesome though. We ate lunch at Kneaders up there, shopped ALL day, then ate dinner at Noodles in Sugarhouse, and shopped more at Ann Taylor Loft. It was a good day! My girls are champion shoppers!

Thursday we had a down day- ate Lunch at Kneaders, grocery shopped, got a rainbow, hung out all afternoon, and walked to the park that night.
Lucy loves taking pictures of herself... =)

Friday my mom was pretty sick, so we headed to surf n'swim without her. We met up with Melissa and Carter, Amy, Blake, and Callie, Bonnie, and Jessi. Surf n' swim is awesome and the kids had SO much fun! We will do anything to go swimming.
Lucy practicing her High-V for the mini-cheer camp the next week! I love this!

We picked up Tyler from the airport on Saturday morning and the girls were SO excited to see their dad! That's the longest we had been away from him (almost 2 weeks!) and it was too long! We got a room at the Little America for us to stay that night, but we took the girls swimming during the day. Like I said, we LOVE swimming, and these two could stay in the water all day long!
We got ready at the hotel and drove the girls back to Grandma Bonnie's house so we could have a night alone! Hallelujah! It was a much needed break, and such a fun getaway to (kind of) celebrate 5 years together! We ate dinner at Rodizio Grill, and walked around Trolley Square and Lululemon for a while. Perfect. It was so nice to sleep in, have breakfast, and even lay out for a little while at the pool before having to get ready and go to church! Awesome!

Monday morning Lucy had her first mini cheer camp! The first of many I'm sure... Haha, but she loved it and had so much fun with her cousin Blake! She went early with my mom to help, and would announce as she walked in, "Hi Everybody! I'm HERE!!!".... Yep, that's Lucy, she LOVES to be the center of attention! Haha.
We went to Lagoon with Tyler that day, and had so much fun! I already posted those pictures.
Wednesday, the 3rd, after the cheer clinic we met up with Tyler's fam to play at Surf N' Swim again!
We had such a good week! The 4th of July is seriously my favorite Holiday ever, so I am so glad we got to be in Utah with family, and that Tyler got to be with us! Pictures coming soon!
